2016 marks the start of the Amateur Kiteboarders Association (\u201cAKA\u201d), a newly created 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. The AKA is open to boys and girls ages 10-19 whether they are full or part-time residents of Puerto Rico. So for you \u201cNortherners\u201d with kiteboarding children, we welcome you!<\/p>\n
Attached you will find our first parents\u2019 letter with key announcements and dates. The letter also includes a summary of our December 2015 parents\u2019 meeting. Please take a moment to read the attached letter as it covers the AKA\u2019s objectives, membership fees, charitable activities and volunteer opportunities for parents and students.<\/p>\n
Our first practice is this Thursday January 14 (details attached) and our first competitive event is Saturday February 13.<\/p>\n
